01 — About

The work comes first.
It always has.

Born in Peru and raised in Weston, Florida since he was three months old, Nicolás Devoto is a bilingual actor — English and Spanish — drawn to honest, grounded storytelling. On set he is known for two things: listening like the camera isn’t there, and showing up prepared like the role depends on it — because it does.

His recent work includes the short film “Brothers,” directed by Leonardo Buceti, and his range runs from two-hander comedy to dramatic monologue, hosting, and commercial work — with a growing love for voice acting. What pulls him in is the complex character: the one he has to dissect, beat by beat, to understand why it moves the way it does.

Off camera he boxes, and he brings that discipline to the work: if it comes easy, it doesn’t count. He’d rather spend hours on one thing until it’s earned. Humble by nature — half his friends don’t even know he acts — he’s building a body of work one truthful performance at a time, looking for the roles that will stretch him next.
